A Tale of Two Parties

Hello there. Have you ever felt caught between two friends? Being pulled from both sides? Deciding what's Right? Well if you have, you're just like me. Congrats! We should be friends. So since we're friends now let me tell you why I feel this way. It all started with a little event I like to call HOMECOMING. Now two of my friends were having a party before homecoming. One was not invited to the other because the other knew that one was having a party all ready and that she would not be coming. Now, you would think this would be ok. You'd think they would just meet up at the dance later. Well...you'd be wrong. Instead, one of the friends gets mad at the other and pulls an innocent person into the mix and accuses them of random stuff that is "upsetting" her so that she doesn't look dumb about getting upset over a party. Now this third, innocent friend is being torn apart limb from limb (theoretically speaking) and wondering why she is being attacked when it didn't involve her. Also, the boyfriend of said friend number three does not particularly favor friend number one so it just adds even more pressure. This third friend would be me.  Welcome to my world.  I had just decided to go to both and split the time equally. But apparently that's not ok because it was not run past the princess. Instead it's blown out of proportion and ruining a friendship. So the only solution is to go our separate ways and be cordial.
